Pacific Surf School: Women's Surfing

Surfing is often thought of as a male-only sport, but in fact women have enjoyed surfing since the days of ancient Hawaii, and in California since the early 1920's. Today, you can find amazing women surfers in every surfing country. They range from amateurs to accomplished professionals, competing for cash prizes and corporate sponsors.

At Pacific Surf School we believe women should have the same quality of experience as men. That's why we offer women's specific equipment and female instructors with a different perspective on the whole surfing culture. We know men and women learn in different ways and when you are trying something new it is important to receive instruction and support from someone who understands your learning needs!

Surf Lessons
9 am-12pm
11am-2pm (private lessons only)
2 pm-5pm

Through the winter months, November to March, our lessons will run at 11am only.

Private 1-on-1: $165/person
Private Group (Max 5): $130/person
Family (13 & under with parent, max 4): $115/person

O'neill has committed massive amounts of time and energy over the past 5 years to develop the perfect wetsuit for women. These wetsuits are designed with the lines and curves that fit a woman's body, allowing for great comfort and the best retention of warmth you can find! This goes for the rest of the gear we carry for women (booties, gloves and rash guards). The days of trying to stuff yourself into a suit that obviously wasn't made for your body are finally over!
