Pacific Surf School: Surfing Lessons

Have fun! First thing on the beach is to go through surfing etiquette, ocean safety and the basics of surfing technique. Then we charge the waves! Lessons include all necessary equipment (wetsuit, booties, gloves and board).

We offer group or private lessons to males and females of all ages, all year long. To create an optimal learning environment we have a 5 to 1 student /teacher ratio so you get the personal attention you deserve. Lesson hours are as follows, 7 days a week:

FALL AND WINTER MONTHS, OCTOBER TO APRIL:

11 AM - 2 PM

Spring and summer months, MAY to september:

9 Am - 12 pm

11 AM - 2 pm (jULY AND aUGUST oNLY)

2 pm - 5 pm

All of our lessons are 3 hours in duration and include all necessary equipment. Lesson prices are per person and subject to tax.
Regular Group (2+)	$75 per person	13yrs +, this lesson will introduce you to the sport of surfing in a safe, fun, group environment. It is a comprehensive introduction covering every aspect of surfing - aimed at beginner level.
Private Group (max 5)	$110 per person	Tailored to the level of your group, this lesson will consist of just your group and one instructor - ideal for couples or groups of friends.
Family Lesson (3-5 people)	$85 per person	Designed for families with young children (between 6yrs & 12yrs). These lessons will consist of just your family unit with your own instructor - with the emphasis being on the safety of the children. Parental accompaniment required.
Private 1 on 1	$150	This lesson will consist of just yourself and your own private instructor - ideal for the intermediate to advanced surfer, or for those people who feel they would benefit from the 1 on 1 instruction.

All participants are required to sign a release of liability and indemnity agreement.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellations within 48hrs of a lesson booking (or failing to show up) will incur a charge of $25 per person.

Over 60? Lesson's on us. Based on our philosophy that everyone should enjoy surfing, Pacific Surf School offers FREE surf lessons to anyone over 60. (Regular group lessons only subject to availability.)
